Black Locust is the primary component of TimberHomes’ Trailhead Kiosk and Park Bench business. As the gold standard fence post, Black Locust was brought to the Northeast from the Mid-Appalachian States by farmers. It is without dispute the most naturally rot resistant wood available in the Northeast. Though prized, it’s not consistently available in a retail setting. Thanks to the networking done in support of TimberHomes’ kiosk business, TimberHomes can now offer Black Locust for sale in limited quantities.
