Things are moving fast around TimberHomes now that we are into our building season. So what do we do? We pick up the speed!
Every year, the State throws a race to benefit the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness. Companies in our area assemble teams of runners or walkers for a 5K course. Over 1,500 runners and walkers competed in this year’s race. For TimberHomes, this was the third year we have assembled an illustrious team to join the fun and represent Timberhomes.
We had a great time, rain notwithstanding! We had 11 runners, composed of THVT employees and family; even a few past employees made the pilgrimage to join us. We were a flash of color on a gray day! Four of our racers finished in the top 15 of their divisions, and 2 runners finished in the top 10. The rain and clouds couldn’t dampen our spirits. Rain or shine, it is a joy to be together with each other and other runners/walkers from companies from across Central Vermont. TimberHomes is proud to be part of this annual tradition.
