Randolph Home Part 3: The Finish

May 20, 2014

The final take: the finishing touches on this project in Randolph Center, VT range from tasteful to elegant to whimsical. The homeowners’ stylistic decisions and participation, most especially during the finishing phase, made this house really feel like ‘home’, before they’d rolled out the carpets and moved in. Trim and other details pull widely from the local northern woods: cherry, butternut, ash, black walnut, yellow birch….even an apple bough snuck in. Live edges abound. Timberhomes greatly enjoyed bringing this house to life, and we hope our most welcoming and creative clients derive energy and peacefulness from their home long into the future.
