TimberHomes recently donated a Mini trailhead kiosk to MAMBA (Montpelier Area Mountain Bike Association) which is expanding a multi-use trail north of downtown Montpelier. The timber frame, wayfinding kiosk is located off of Cummings St., on the east side Rte. 12 and the Winooski River.
MAMBA, a 115 member organization, has been working steadily to develop the bike culture in central Vermont. The Montpelier trail is an addition to their existing trails in East Montpelier, Berlin, and Calais. Their work in Montpelier has been the primary focus of the year. Board member John Hollar expects that the MAMBA Montpelier trail, “will soon be among the most popular in the area.”
TimberHomes is pleased to be able to contribute to the cause. After all, the trail is located very close to the company’s new shop on route 12.
