Timberhomes built a lovely little greenhouse for a client, who enclosed it himself with glass panels (see original post about the raising here). The building is now in its finished state, and looks grand. Most of the timbers in this frame are white oak, a local timber noted for its rot resistance, making it a wise choice for a building that will see so much moisture. The curving cherry collar out front is a great accent piece, with the year of the raising carved in. It was raised by hand by the family and friends, as a place to start seedlings.
