On November 17th, TimberHomes held a company wide meeting at the Vershire shop. As Timber Homes also works out of its Middlesex shop, the meeting was a rare opportunity to have (almost) everyone together at one time. The number of employees grew by four this year to twelve.
The meeting not only gave the crews of both shops the chance to mingle, it offered the occasion to tackle an agenda that reflected the significant growth that TimberHomes has been experiencing. The purpose of the meeting was to give all a glimpse into TH’s accounting, project management, roles & responsibilities, meeting practices, and pay rates.
With the planned building of a new shop in Montpelier (to replace the Middlesex facility), it’s clear that the 2018 season will be busy. While not easy, making time to plan as a group will surely pay dividends!
