Timberhomes LLC just finished this lovely outdoor structure for one of our long-time local clients. The house had long wanted a shade structure on its sunny south end. The wood in this post and beam pergola is native Vermont cedar, sitting on granite piers. Copper flashing on top of the main beams and a generous application of “One-Time” Wood Protector oil should allow nice long life for this installation. Weddings on this site cannot be ruled out.
