A family recently moved to Thetford, Vermont and acquired an existing 24’x32′ concrete slab with their property. They approached us in late August about building a barn/garage to house a tractor, truck, and yard equipment in time for this coming winter. We quickly pulled a design together and got the frame cut. Raising and doing the necessary enclosure work was looking a little dicey given all the snow we have had late this fall, but fortunately early this week the weather finally changed. Here’s how things looked at the end of Day 3 on site. Note the integral stair framing, just visible through the scaffolding. We hope to have the place fully done by Dec. 21.
