“Storybook” Home For Sale

May 25, 2013

In 2002, Josh and his business partner at the time Ben Yeomans, built a timber frame in Lake Toxaway, NC.  This home was insulated with straw bales and it became the first home in Transylvania County (yes, it is a real county) to use straw bales for insulation.  After the frame was raised, Harvest Home Improvements (Harvest Leasure), with the help of Matthew Agrella-Sevilla, went on to provide the finishing touches to this beautiful home.

This home is now being sold by Mike Carrick ( carrickproperties.com/2278-Diamond-Creek-Rd-a143161.ht. )
