Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust’s Hatchery Brook Trail adds a Kiosk

November 6, 2019

Staff and volunteers spent a day last week in Rangeley, Maine installing a TimberHomes Classic Kiosk along the Hatchery Brook Trail.

Hatchery Brook is Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust’s flagship trail. The trail is a one-mile loop that offers several views of City Cove and the village of Rangeley along with Saddleback Mountain. Close to town, it is perfect for a quick day hike or family adventures. The trail is open year-round and is perfect for hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoeing.

The Classic Kiosk that Rangeley Lake Heritage Trust installed is a durable hand-built timber frame with clean chamfered edges, rot-resistant white oak posts and pegs, eastern white pine crossbars and roof framing, with a signboard constructed of eastern white cedar.
