A TimberHomes kiosk was installed in Barre at a city park recently (popular access point here), and has been finished out with a cedar bench.
This property has been publicly owned since 1895, and originally served as a pasture for the horses that pulled the winter street-clearing plows. There’s ample draw to come walk on this piece of land – raspberry patches that are popular picking spots, trails for running, snow shoeing, and dog walking, and a diversity of wildlife passing through the forest and wetlands. The trails vary from wide VAST trails to informal wood paths. After a long hike, kick back and relax on this spiffy new kiosk bench!
