New Trailhead Kiosk at Moosilauke Mountain

A new style of trailhead kiosk, affectionately dubbed the ‘pyramiddle’, allows for two display boards facing one another. Our traditional trailhead kiosk has a single signboard area framed by two posts and sheltered with a simple gable roof. The pyramiddle uses a third post to create space for a second signboard area, a very snazzy ridge/roof system, and a small, sheltered space to stand while reading signs. This prototype pyramiddle kiosk was installed at the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge in the White Mountains of New Hampshire to greet visitors to the Gorge Brook Trail. See our kiosk page for more information on our traditional trailhead kiosks.
